Stair Hole & The Lulworth Crumple

Stair Hole & The Lulworth Crumple

Next to Lulworth Cove sits Stair Hole with the famous Lulworth Crumple. Made from the same rocks that formed Durdle Door, the weight of them has forced the rocks to collapse back giving a serious or ‘stairs’. These layers of rock were formed about 130-140 million years ago at the bottom of a shallow lagoon.
