Lulworth Cove

Lulworth Cove

Lulworth Cove sits in the pretty village of West Lulworth. An almost perfect shell shaped cove, it has been formed after the sea breached the hard limestone cliffs of Portland and Purbeck Limestone, and then cut into the soft clay and chalk behind.

The perfect spot to go for a paddle or lazy on a grassy bank, Lulworth Cove is a delightful place to explore.

There are a number of tearooms, pubs and restaurants for refreshments, or try the delicious Dorset ice-cream and sorbets from any of the small shops dotted around the village.
