This tour has been carefully designed to work perfectly as a day out from London. Whilst the Tour bus itself departs from Bournemouth, it links directly with the train from London Waterloo. The train is by far the quickest and most convenient way to get to Bournemouth and return travel can be for as little as £15.
Travelling by train from London Waterloo, you will be wisked through the rolling hills of Surrey and Hampshire, passing the busy port on Southampton water before you glide through the ancient landscape of the New Forest.
The tour bus departs just outside the train station in Bournemouth.
Your friendly local guide will greet you check you in, all you need is your booking reference number, and you can make yourself conformable on the bus.
Buying your train ticket
The tour price does not include your train travel, which you need to buy separately. Fortunately this is very easy via the trainline.com.
PLEASE NOTE. The return time to Bournemouth is at 16:30 on the weekend and at 18:30 during the week, HOWEVER, due to traffic these times are not guaranteed, therefore we recommend that you do not book return travel until at least ONE hour after the advertised return time. We do not want to cut your time down on the Jurassic Coast to try and get back for a particular train.
The times below are perfectly achievable if the traffic is normal and you have an open return train ticket, but we DO NOT recommend bookings seats on these return train departures. If you do miss a booked train, you will normally be allowed to board the next train, but this is not guaranteed.
The tour runs at different times during the week and at weekends, please see below for details:
